Ba de ya, dancing in September!

Children going back to school, old fogies going back to Florida, switching off the A/C and breaking out the fall clothes, praise the LORD I made it to the end of summer.  I feel like DANCING!

As you can probably tell, summer isn’t exactly one of my favorite seasons.  I’m especially jazzed about this September too, as I’ll be seeing my best friend again for the first time in two years, kicking off another awesomely awesome road trip that will take me through 4 states, and visiting to see what may very well be my future dog in Colorado.  Plus, PUMPKIN SPICE LATTES.  BOOYAH!

Also tweaked my blog with a new autumn theme to celebrate.  Good times are here again!

      1. Yeah….I don’t have one either. And I’ve burned out 5 percolators. Right now I’m using a horrible drip machine. I need a new coffee pot.

    1. My folks had the same highly functional percolator for over 20 years (Farberware). It lasted 18 months with me. Maybe my kitchen is where coffee makes go to die or something.

  1. Frank,

I don’t like summer either. In fact, autumn is my favourite season, so there are good times ahead! Enjoy the dropping temperatures and shortening days! 🙂

    1. Autumn is definitely my favorite season as well, something about the cool, crisp weather, the foliage and the scents of pumpkin and dead leaves that really puts me at ease.

  2. Frank,

Let me know if you want to visit Vermont on your way back from out West. You should be able to catch the tail end of our foliage season and I could send you some travel publications that I write for to give you ideas of where to go and what to see.
